BRONX, N.Y. – A total of 12 members of the Quinnipiac women's cross country team were named to the 2013 MAAC Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team on Nov. 1, 2013. Quinnipiac was second behind only Marist in total student-athletes who earned the distinction.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. A consistent fixture among the University's most successful programs academically, the women's cross country team continues to show dedicated in the classroom.
Among the Bobcats' student-athletes honored are all nine members of the senior class in addition to three sophomores. For each of the nine seniors, it wasn't their first time earning the All-Academic Team distinction while the sophomores earned the award in their first year of eligibility.
