Before Quinnipiac: Attended Toms River High School North where she received 12 varsity letters as a cross country, indoor and outdoor track athlete...Was the 2007 and 2008 South Jersey State Sectional Champions in cross country...Her cross country team won several championships including the Group Four Championships in 2007, the Shore Conference Championships in 2009, the South Jersey Group Four Championships for three straight years, the Ocean County Championships in 2008 and 2009, and the Class "A" South Cross Country Champions in 2008...Helped lead her indoor track team to an Ocean Country Championship in 2008 and 2009...Received the Ocean County Sportsmanship of the Year Award in 2010...Received numerous awards as a cross country runner, including the Most Improved Award in 2007, the Most Dedicated Award in 2008, and the Most Valuable Runner in 2009...Was selected to the cross country All-Shore third team and the All-County second team in 2008...Was named All-County in 2010...Was named Most Dedicated on her indoor and outdoor track teams in 2010...Ran the 1,600-meter race in 5:21; the 3,200-meter race in 11:39; and cross country's 5k in 19:12.
