Freshmen Tierra Allen (Sumter, S.C./Wellesley, Mass.), Krista Bennett (Scottsdale, Ariz.), Tanner Celestin (Norco, Calif.) and Brittanie Robinson (Fresno, Calif.) will join junior college transfer Samantha Jablonski (Center Moriches, N.Y.) in comprising the Bobcats' class of newcomers.</description>

Quinnipiac is 11-3 all-time against the Terriers, including three consecutive wins. The Bobcats are 5-10 all time against LIU, including 10 straight losses.</description>

      <description>Following an impressive weekend sweep of NEC foes Robert Morris and Saint Francis (Pa.), the Quinnipiac University volleyball team looks for a third straight win when it travels to Worcester, Mass., Wednesday night for a rematch of the Bobcats'  season-opening 3-0 defeat at Holy Cross, Aug. 27. The Bobcats and Crusaders have split 10 meetings all-time. Ironically, the two teams also met last Oct. 13, with the Bobcats pulling out a 3-2 victory in Hamden. The home team has won five of six meetings, with QU defeating Holy Cross in Worcester in 2000. The other four matches were played on neutral courts.</description>

      <description>Quinnipiac University junior setter Kayla Lawler (Louisville, Ky.) has been named Molten/Northeast Conference Volleyball Co-Player of the Week after leading the Bobcats to a sweep of the league's two Western Pennsylvania teams, Robert Morris and Saint Francis (Pa.), this past weekend. Lawler is the first Bobcat to earn the award in nearly nine years, following Heather Wollyung's honor on Oct. 15, 2001. Lawler is just the third Quinnipiac player to earn the award since the Bobcats began play in the NEC in 1998, joining Wollyung and Shannon Dublin. The Bobcats' setter shares this week's award with Sacred Heart's Elise Sage.</description>
