HANOVER, N.H. - Freshman Logan Riker (Bowling Green, Ohio) had a team-high nine digs, but the Quinnipiac University volleyball team was defeated by Dartmouth, 3-0, Tuesday night at Leede Arena. With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 0-4, while the Big Green improves to 2-0.
Kayla Lawler (Richmond, Ind.) compiled 17 assists, while Kelby Carey (Surfside, Calif.) had a team-high eight kills. Alyssa Naylor (San Diego, Calif.) added seven kills and a solo block.
The Big Green won the first set, 25-17, before taking the second, 25-12. Dartmouth put the match away with a 25-18 decision in the third set.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, when they begin action in the Columbia Invitational. The Bobcats face Stony Brook at 11 a.m., before a 7 p.m. match-up against host Columbia at Levien Gymnasium.
