As a Senior in 2011-12: One of the Bobcat’s top runners all season, Roche was the lone Bobcat to compete in the ECAC Championships where she finished the 3000m event in 9:57.04…She began the year with a 10:08 time in the 3000m event at the Yale Lid Lifter…Finished in third place in the 1000m with a time of 3:05.70 at Fordham…Led the Bobcat contingent with a third place showing at the Yale Invitational in the one mile race and finished in 5:08.85…Helped lead the distance medley relay team at Yale to a second place result out of four team with a finishing time of 12:50.98…Finished second on the team in the one mile race with a time of 5;06.37 at Rhode Island…Placed 21st out of 83 runners at BU in the 3000m event as she crossed the line in 9:53.85…Placed 9th out of 34 at Dartmouth in the 800m event as she finished in 2:24.98…Finished in sixth out of 26 runners in the 3000m final at the NEC Championships…Helped the distance medley team race to a fourth place result at the NEC Championships with a time of 12:19.42…Also helped lead the distance medley team to an eight place result (12:13.76) at the New England Championships…Ran a personal-best time of 4:57.64 in the one mile event at the New England Championships as she finished her first sub-five minute mile in an event in her career.

As a Junior in 2010-11: Red-shirted during the indoor season. 

As a Sophomore in 2009-10: Placed second in the 3,000-meter run and was the anchor of Quinnipiac’s first-place distance medley relay team at the Northeast Conference Championships…Ran a personal-best mile at the NEC championship meet, breaking five minutes for the first time in her career…Competed at the ECAC Championships, where she ran a personal-best, 9:50, in the 3,000-meter run.

 

As a Freshman in 2008-09: Was named the Quinnipiac Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year...Placed third in the one mile and fourth in the 3k at the Northeast Conference Indoor Championships…Participated in the one-mile event at the New England Championships.

Before Quinnipiac: Attended Shenendehowa High School where she ran varsity cross country, indoor and outdoor track…Also was a member of the varsity soccer team…Was a Section Two Champion…Was selected as a High School All-American and was named New York All-State…Received Suburban Council All-Star and Section Two All-Star honors.

Personal: A native of Clifton Park, N.Y…Daughter of Douglas and Lynn…Has a younger brother, Carter, who plays volleyball at Endicott College…Majoring in psychology and elementary education.
