BOSTON, Mass. - The Quinnipiac University women's indoor track
team ran in the final day of the New England Championships on
Saturday, Feb. 26.
"Every single athlete finished the season with a personal best or
season best time," said Quinnipiac Head Coach Carolyn Martin. "We
finished the season very confident and the women and I are excited
for an even better outdoor season."
Two Quinnipiac runners ran the 3k in personal-best times,
including Paige Pallotto (Westbrook, Conn.), who finished in
10:41.93, and Brianna Faust (Macungie, Pa.), who finished with a
time of 10:21. Julie Lanning (Victor, N.Y.) represented the Bobcats
in the one mile, where she crossed the finish line in 5:14.45, also
a personal best.
Quinnipiac also competed in the 4x800-meter relay. Becca White
(Natick, Mass.), Rachel Morelli (Philadelphia, Pa.), Alexandra
Seitz (Annandale, N.J.), and Hannah Donadio (Killingworth, Conn.)
finished the relay in 9:36.93.
The Bobcats' White ran the 5k in the first day of the New England
Championships, where she qualified for the ECAC Championships,
which take place next weekend, on March 5 and March 6.
