Tuesday’s Women’s Tennis Match at Manhattan Postponed to Next Week
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) women's tennis match between Quinnipiac University and Manhattan College that was scheduled to be played at the USTA National Tennis Center on Tuesday, April 15 has been postponed due to rain in the forecast. The conference showdown has been rescheduled to the same time (5:30 p.m.) and place next week, Tuesday, April 22, 2014.

Women's Tennis Defeats Niagara on Senior Day, 5-2
The Quinnipiac University women’s tennis team put together a fabulous display of tennis on Saturday afternoon, improving to 6-0 in MAAC play with a 5-2 win over Niagara University on Senior Day at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts. Quinnipiac’s lone senior class member Mary Chupa (Bradenton, Fla.) was honored prior to the match.

The Quinnipiac University women’s tennis team collected its fourth straight win in convincing fashion on Friday afternoon, as the Bobcats claimed their fourth sweep of the season in a 7-0 win over Hartford at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts.

The Quinnipiac University women’s tennis team became the first team to clinch a spot in the MAAC Tournament Championships on Wednesday afternoon, as the Bobcats defeated Marist College, 5-2, at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts.

The Quinnipiac University women’s tennis team won for the third time in its last four tries on Sunday afternoon, as the Bobcats handed former NEC foe and in-state rival Sacred Heart a 6-1 loss at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts in Hamden.

Women’s Tennis Sweeps Saint Peter’s to Improve to 4-0 in MAAC Play; Dassa and Raynor Earn 50th Career Doubles Win
The Quinnipiac University women’s tennis team held serve on its home court on Saturday afternoon, as the Bobcats defeated Saint Peter’s University in convincing fashion with a 7-0 sweep at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts. Michelle Dassa (Marlboro, N.J.) and Jacqueline Raynor (Garden City, N.Y.) reached a cooperative milestone, as the tandem collected its 50th career win when paired together at doubles.

Friday’s Non-Conference Men’s and Women’s Tennis Doubleheader Postponed
The non-conference men’s and women’s tennis match between Quinnipiac University and Sacred Heart University that was scheduled to be played at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts on Friday, April 4 has been postponed due to rain in the forecast. The women’s tennis match will now take place on Sunday, April 6 at 3 p.m. while the men’s match has been moved to Monday, April 14 at 3 p.m.

Sophia Dzulynsky (Miramar, Fla.) and Jacqueline Raynor (Garden City, N.Y.) each collected their 10th win at singles this season, and the Quinnipiac University women’s tennis team stayed perfect in MAAC competition with a 7-0 win over Siena College on Saturday night.

Kelsi Oliphant (Calgary, Alberta) collected her 10th singles win of the season on Sunday night, but it was not enough in a 6-1 loss for the Quinnipiac University women’s tennis team. BIG EAST foe Seton Hall was firing on all cylinders in a five-point victory at the NJIT Indoor Tennis Courts in Newark, N.J.

Quinnipiac Sweep: Ariana Launie and Kei Ezaka Named MAAC Tennis Players of the Week
The Quinnipiac University men’s and women’s tennis teams swept the MAAC Weekly awards as freshman Kei Ezaka (Ojai, Calif.) and junior Ariana Launie (Milton, Mass.) were named Players of the Week for the week ending on March 16, 2014. Ezaka and Launie performed exceptionally well on the teams’ annual Spring Break trip to Florida.

Men's and Women's Tennis Spring Break in Florida Blog - Thursday, March 13, 2014
The schedule for Wednesday, tennis wise, did not go as planned for the men’s team. We woke up at 7 a.m. to get ready for an early practice, however, as we were going to leave for practice it started to downpour. Coach Pappas said we would wait until the rain passed, so we could do fitness and start preparing for Valparaiso. At 11 a.m. we had our fitness session and we were ready to play tennis. Unfortunately, it started to rain again. We are going into tomorrow’s match without any practice, but it can possibly be a good thing because it gave us a chance to get some rest after Monday and Tuesday’s matches.

We started today with an early morning fitness session to get acclimated to the warm weather and get our blood flowing. The Bobcats celebrated National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink shirts during the match.

Bobcats Impress at Sacred Heart Doubles Festival; Women's Tennis Victorious in Three Flights
There is something about the Sacred Heart Doubles Festival that brings out the best in the Quinnipiac University women's tennis team, as the Bobcats once again fared well in the annual tournament. Quinnipiac posted a combined 16-4 record on the afternoon and walked away with three of the four titles. Junior Jacqueline Raynor (Garden City, N.Y.) also picked up her 80th career win in the one-day event.

Quinnipiac University women's tennis head coach Mike Quitko has announced that senior Mary Chupa (Bradenton, Fla.) will serve as the team captain for the 2013-14 season and will be assisted by juniors Jacqueline Raynor (Garden City, N.Y.), Michelle Dassa (Marlboro, N.J.) and Ariana Launie (Milton, Mass.).
