HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University women's tennis team had its match with Stony Brook University cut short due to inclement weather on Tuesday afternoon. The non-conference clash will not be made up as each team will be participating in its conference tournament in the near future.
Quinnipiac and Stony Brook were able to complete the doubles segment before the rain started. Michelle Dassa (Marlboro, N.J.) and Jacqueline Raynor (Garden City, N.Y.) managed to pick up an 8-5 victory at No. 2, but the Seawolves bested the Bobcats at No. 1 and No. 3 for the point.

Quinnipiac is back in action Friday, April 19 with the 2013 Northeast Conference Tournament. The Bobcats will take on either #7 Mount St. Mary's or #10 Wagner College in the quarterfinals at Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, N.J.
