Rachel Cantor (Short Hills, N.J.) also played a highly-competitive match at No. 1 singles, but fell, 6-3, 6-4, to Yuliana Motyl.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, when they travel to West Point, N.Y., to take on Army. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m.
