Mary Wilson (Greensburg, Pa.) and Adrienne Markison (Princeton, N.J.) earned an 8-0 No. 1 doubles victory over Carla Erskine and Allison Solberg. Wilson then defeated Erskine, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1 singles, while Markison beat Alexandra Harding, 6-1, 6-3, at No. 3 singles.
Freshmen Rachel Cantor (Short Hills, N.J.) and Sarah Viebrock (Carmel, N.Y.) paired to defeat Sarah Kelly and Wesleigh Donadio, 8-2, at No. 2 doubles. Cantor then beat Solberg, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 2 singles, while Viebrock blanked Elizabeth Spelman, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 6 singles.
Lisanne Steinert (Glauchau, Germany) and Natalie Duckor (North Tustin, Calif.) combined to beat Emily Urda and Katherine Monari, 8-1, at No. 3 doubles. Steinert then outlasted Urda, 6-4, 2-6, 10-5, at No. 4 singles, while Duckor also won in three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 6-0, over Kelly.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, when they face Long Island in a rematch of the last six NEC Tournament Championship matches. Matches are set to begin at 12 p.m. at the National Tennis Center in Queens, N.Y.
