As a freshman:
Found a tremendous amount of early success in her freshman
campaign, rebounding from an early singles loss in her debut to win
seven straight singles decisions ... Included in the stretch was
the deciding point in a three-set victory over Connecticut's Abby
McKeon at No. 6 singles to give the Bobcats the 4-3 victory over
the Huskies ... Went 13-8 overall in singles play, while posting 14
doubles wins, 11 with Rachel Cantor ... Paired with Cantor to go
9-5 in dual matches, primarily out of the No. 2 position ... Posted
a 6-0, 6-0, win in her first Northeast Conference Tournament match
over Saint Francis (Pa.)'s Devyn Sarver at No. 4 ... won the C
Flight Consolation Championship at the Quinnipiac Invitational with
an 8-3 victory over Rhode Island's Amanda Barletta.
Before Quinnipiac:
Ranked as highly as No. 94 nationally and a four-star recruit by
the Tennis Recruiting Network, and also ranked 11th in the Middle
Atlantic Region and No. 6 in New York...earned the No.15 ranking in
the USTA Eastern Section Girl's 16's...has been a four-year
All-League and All-Section pick as the top player at Kennedy
Catholic High School in Somers, N.Y. ...helped lead Kennedy
Catholic to three consecutive undefeated seasons and league
championships...was an Empire State Gold Medalist in 2007 and
2008...earned the USTA Eastern Section Sportsmanship Award in 2007
and the Monsignor Mullroy Award for academic and athletic
excellence in 2006...also played varsity softball at Kennedy
Catholic, earning All-League Honorable Mention...a National Honor
Society
member.
