Women's Tennis Falls At Boston University, 7-0

BOSTON – Mary Wilson (Greensburg, Pa.) and Adrienne Markison (Princeton, N.J.) won their No. 1 doubles match, but the Quinnipiac University women's tennis team was defeated by Boston University, 7-0, Sunday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center. With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 2-2, while the Terriers improve to 5-1.

Wilson paired with Markison to defeat Francine Whu and Yana Sadovskaya, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles. But the Terriers managed wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles to take the doubles point. The Terriers went on to win all six singles flights in straight sets to earn the 7-0 sweep.

The Bobcats return to action Saturday, when they travel to Providence, R.I., to take on Brown. Matches are scheduled to begin at noon.
