Three Women's Tennis Players Victorious Friday
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Adrienne Markison (Princeton, N.J.), Natalie Duckor (North Tustin, Calif.) and Shawna Sarson (Albany, N.Y.) each picked up wins on the first day of the Bucknell Round-Robin, Friday. Markison headlined the group, taking a 6-2, 6-4, victory against Bucknell's Paulina Gamboa, in Flight #1.
Duckor defeated Connecticut's Emily Herb, 6-1, 3-6, 11-9, in Flight #2, while Sarson also won a third-set tie-breaker against Emily Searle of UConn, 6-2, 5-7, 10-6, in Flight #7.
The Bobcats resume Bucknell Round-Robin action tomorrow.
