HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University women’s soccer program hosted a high school player clinic for any high school player interested in Quinnipiac University on Friday, Aug. 12. Forty-two high school students attended the clinic, which was conducted by the Quinnipiac women’s soccer coaching staff.
“I hope the players will better understand the type of student-athlete we’re looking to recruit and what the program offers them on and off the field,” said Head Coach Dave Clarke. The clinic, which was the third of the year, offered a tour of the school, meeting with admissions, question and answer session with the Quinnipiac coaching staff, as well as a training session on the fields. “Hopefully they’ll get a sense of what I’m like as a coach in terms of on the field and be educated about the recruiting process,” said Clarke.
