The Quinnipiac University women's soccer team (5-6-3)
plays in a non-conference match against Harvard University (6-6-1)
on Monday, Oct. 25 at 7:00 p.m. The Bobcats are currently ranked
third in the Northeast Conference with a record of 3-2-3 and 12
points.

Scouting Harvard
Harvard is currently tied for second with Princeton in the Ivy
League with a 3-2-0 record. In their most recent outing, Harvard
shutout Princeton, 4-0, on Oct. 23. The Crimson has scored 23 goals
in its last 13 games. Katherine Sheeleigh leads the team with 19
points and has five goals on the season. Melanie Baskind leads the
team in goals (7). Goalkeepers Alexandra Millet and Jessica Wright
have recorded a combined 59 saves and allowed 22 goals on the
season. The Crimson are coached by Ray Leone.

Strassner
Shoots and Scores
The Bobcats are
coming off a 1-0 victory at Bryant on Friday, Oct. 22. Sophomore
midfielder Jillian
Strassner (Avon, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal in the
61st minute of play. Strassner is second on the team in
goals (4) and has tallied one assist on the season. Senior Meagan
McLoughlin (Rocky Hill, Conn.) had the goal's assist, which was
her second of the year.

Furtuna
Velaj (Stamford, Conn.) leads the team in goals (5), assists
(4) and points (14). The junior has tallied 68 shots on the season,
including 29 on goal.
Kelley's A
Keeper
Quinnipiac goalie Jillian
Kelley (Simsbury, Conn.) has recorded 68 saves in 14 games this
fall. Kelley has started in every game for the Bobcats, allowing 19
goals on the season. The junior has earned four shutouts this year,
including the win against Bryant on Friday.
Regular
Season Play Comes To An End
The Bobcats play their final NEC games of the 2010 regular
season at the Quinnipiac Soccer Field in Hamden, Conn. Quinnipiac
hosts Sacred Heard on Friday, Oct. 29 at 2:00 p.m. and Fairleigh
Dickinson on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 1:00 p.m.
