Conference Play On The Road
The Quinnipiac University women's soccer team (4-5-2)
travels for two Northeast Conference match-ups this weekend. The
Bobcats face the Saint Francis (Pa.) Red Flash (2-2-0 NEC, 8-4-1)
on Friday, Oct. 15 at the DeGol Field in Loretto, Pa. Quinnipiac
then plays the Colonials of Robert Morris (2-2-0 NEC, 5-7-1) on
Sunday, Oct. 17 at the North Athletic Complex in Moon Township, Pa.
The games are scheduled to begin at 4:00 and 1:00 p.m.,
respectively. The Bobcats are currently third in the NEC with a
record of 2-1-2, while Saint Francis (Pa.) and Robert Morris are
tied in seventh.

seventh in the NEC women's soccer standings. Saint Francis (Pa.)
lost, 1-0, in its most recent outing at Bryant on Oct. 10. The Red
Flash won NEC games against Robert Morris on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2-1,
and against Mount. St. Mary's, 6-1, on Oct. 3. Monmouth beat St.
Francis (Pa.), 3-1, on Oct. 1. Tessa McKibben leads the Red Flash's
offense with nine goals and seven assists. The sophomore leads the
NEC with 25 points. Other offensive threats for Saint Francis (Pa.)
are Haleigh Dunyon and Ba Maros de Carvalho. Dunyon has tallied
seven goals and one assist on the season, while Maros de Carvalho
has scored three goals and made nine assists. Lauren Fearer and
Brianna Butcher have split time in net for the Red Flash. Fearer
has made 39 saves and allowed six goals, while Butcher has made 25
saves and allowed nine goals. Brenda van Stralen is in her seventh
season with Saint Francis (Pa.).

The Colonials lost, 4-1, in its first NEC game of the season on
Sept. 26. Robert Morris' two conference wins of the season were
against Mount St. Mary's (1-0) and Monmouth (2-0), earlier this
month. Ayana Davis leads the Colonials with seven goals on the
season. Jess Sharik, Katie Austin, Rachel Sebbens, and Jennifer
Tobar, have each tallied two goals. Starting in net for Robert
Morris is Jessica Olin. Olin has started in 12 of the Colonials' 13
games this season. Olin has allowed 21 goals and leads the NEC with

McLoughlin (Rocky Hill, Conn.) scored her second goal of the
season in Friday's match against Monmouth. The goal was assisted by
junior Furtuna

Del
Mistro In The Defeat
Junior midfielder Kristina
Del Mistro (East Williston, N.Y.) scored her first goal of the
season against the Mountaineers. Del Mistro also assisted in the
Bobcats' first goal of the game, which was scored by sophomore Jillian
Strassner (Avon, Conn.) for her third goal of the season.

Clarke Wins 100th Game
Head Coach Dave
Clarke won his 100th career game at Quinnipiac on
Sunday, Oct. 10 against Mount St. Mary's, 2-1.

Quinnipiac plays its
third consecutive away game against NEC opponent Bryant University
on Friday, Oct. 22 at the Bryant Track and Field Complex in
Smithfield, R.I. at 3:00 p.m. The Bobcats face Harvard in a
non-conference match-up on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the Ohiri Field in
Cambridge, Mass. at 3:00 p.m. Quinnipiac finishes the regular
season back at the Quinnipiac Soccer Field for two home contests
against Sacred Heart University on Friday, Oct. 29 at 2:00 p.m. and
Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday, Oct. 31 at Noon.
