Brittany Hauser begins her fifth full season as assistant coach of the Bobcats. After being brought on-board in the summer of 2010, Hauser helped lead Quinnipiac to its first-ever NEC Championship in 2011.
A 2010 alumnus of Quinnipiac and a former four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team, Hauser works closely with the defense and goalkeepers as well as assisting with day-to-day operations and student-athlete recruiting as a member of the coaching staff.
While a member of the women’s lacrosse team, Hauser was a three-time All-Northeast Conference Second Team recipient. She was an integral part of the Bobcats’ run to three straight NEC Championship Games from 2008 to 2010 and during her final season as a player, she was named an assistant captain for her leadership both on and off the field.
In addition to her role as a player for the Bobcats, Hauser also served in numerous assistant coaching capacities for local youth teams and camps. In 2006 and 2007, she served as the assistant coach for one of the Long Island Yellow Jackets and the Long Island Hornets club teams. She also spent time during the last few summers as a coach at the Just 4 Girls Lacrosse Camp and the Game Breaker Women’s Lacrosse Camp.
Hauser, a native of East Northport, NY, currently resides in Trumbull, Conn.
