Meaghan Fitzpatrick enters the 2011 season as the second assistant coach after joining the Quinnipiac women’s lacrosse coaching staff in 2008. Fitzpatrick helped the Bobcats to the NEC Regular Season Titles in 2008, 2009 and 2011, as well as the program’s first-ever NEC Tournament Championship this past spring. Fitzpatrick, a graduate of Notre Dame University (2007), comes to Quinnipiac with four years collegiate playing experience.
A four-time letterwinner at South Bend, Fitzpatrick finished her career with the Irish with 100 groundballs and 52 caused turnovers. She started all 34 games she played in during her junior and senior campaigns.
Fitzpatrick lives in Bristol, Conn., where she works full-time at ESPN.
