HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey squad was highlighted in "This Week in Women's D-I" on USCHO.com in a feature story by Women's Division I columnist Arlan Martilla entitled "Bobcats battle into position." Bobcat fans can access the feature by clicking on the link above.
The story touches on all aspects of the women's ice hockey program including its success on the ice this season and the previous three years. This year's team in particular is featured including its recent surge up the ECAC Hockey standings where the Bobcats currently stand in fourth place with 13 points. Martilla also touches on the program being selected as the host site for the 2014 Women's Frozen Four and the added benefits hosting such an event will provide Quinnipiac.
The Bobcats ride their three-game winning streak into Princeton University on Friday for a showdown with the Tigers at 4 p.m. and then return home for the conclusion of the home-and-home series with Princeton on Saturday at 5 p.m. from High Point Solutions Arena.
