Nation's Leading Scorer Babstock and Bobcats Featured in New England Hockey Journal

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac junior forward Kelly Babstock (Mississauga, Ontario) and the women's hockey team was highlighted by New England Hockey Journal after their strong start to the season.

The feature, written by New England Hockey Journal's Kat Cornetta, highlights the record-breaking accomplishments of Babstock through four games this season. She became the program's first 100-point scorer in the first game of the season against Mercyhurst, recorded a program-record four goals against Maine last weekend, and currently leads the nation in points-per-game (3.5), goals-per-game (two) and power-play goals (three). The feature also highlights sophomore forward Nicole Kosta (Mississauga, Ontario) who is currently riding a 11-game point scoring streak and the Bobcats who stand 2-1-1 to start the year.

Quinnipiac are in Syracuse this weekend to take on the Orange on Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. for their first road games of the season.
