ITHACA, N.Y. – Quinnipiac women's ice hockey sophomore forward Kelly Babstock (Mississauga, Ontario) and junior defender Regan Boulton (Brandon, Manitoba) have been named ECAC Hockey Second-Team and Third-Team All-League, respectively, as announced at the league banquet on Thursday evening in Ithaca, N.Y. This marks Babstock's second-consecutive All-League honor, while Boulton takes home her first-ever All-League award.

Babstock, the 2010-11 ECAC Hockey Player and Rookie of the Year, continued her record breaking habits during her sophomore season, becoming the program's all-time goals, assists and points leader through the course of the year. On Friday, Nov. 18 against Colgate, Babstock's game-high four points (two goals, two assists) helped her become the program's all-time leader in points, surpassing Vicki Graham's '07 career total of 73. She proceeded to become the program's all-time assists leader just four game later, when her two helpers in the Nutmeg Classic Championship Game against Robert Morris on Saturday, Nov. 26 provided her with assists number 40 and 41, helping her surpass Caitlin Peters' 39 career assists set in 2004. The sophomore most recently broke the program's all-time goals record, formerly held by Elyse Cole '08 (with 43), as her two tallies on Friday, Feb. 17 against Union gave her 44 goals for her career. Babstock currently sits at 98 career points, with 48 goals and 50 assists.

Babstock is currently the team leader in both points (39) and goals (18), and is second on the squad in assists (21). Her 26 points during the regular season in league play has her ranked seventh among all ECAC Hockey skaters, while her 13 goals (three behind the league leaders) has her in a three-way tie for seventh place in the league. In total games played among all ECAC Hockey skaters, she is tied for eighth in points and holds sole possession of eighth place in overall goals.

Boulton receives a Third-Team selection following career-highs in points (21) and assists (13), and is currently one goal behind her career-high of nine tallies in a season. The junior's 21 points is third-most on the team and is eighth-best among all ECAC Hockey defenders, while her eight goals had her in a three-way tie for third among league defensemen. Boulton played her best hockey in in-conference games, ranking second in goals (eight) and tied for fourth in points (16).

The junior's season highlight came on Saturday, Dec. 3 in a 3-2 overtime victory over Yale, when she tallied the game-tying goal late in the third period, before picking up the assist on the game-winning goal. On both scores Boulton blasted a shot from the point, as the first sailed directly into the net and the second was deflected in front for the goal.

Babstock, Boulton and the Bobcats return to the ice tomorrow afternoon, Friday, March 2, when they face No. 1-seeded Cornell in the Semifinals of the ECAC Hockey Tournament at 3:30 in Ithaca, N.Y.
