"We are very happy with Quinnipiac being in fourth place today," head coach John O'Connor said. "We were passed by Sacred Heart, Fairleigh Dickinson and LIU,  but we shot a very respectable 324."

The Bobcats followed their program-best 318 on Day 1 with a 324 on Day 2. Kayla Ketcheson (St. Andrews, Manitoba) improved by three strokes on her first-day total to card a +7, 79 on the second day. In doing so, Ketcheson moved from a tie of 23rd place into a tie for 16th. Day 1 leader Krissy Unger (New York, N.Y.) went the opposite way, carding an 83 (+9) after a first-day 73 (+1). Unger, who entered "Moving Day" tied for second slipped to eighth overall.

"The story of the day would be Kayla Ketcheson shooting a 79," O'Connor explained. "She has been a solid captain and senior for us. Today was pretty special for her. Krissy Unger slipped, but her last two holes cost her four strokes, so she probably should have finished with a better score. That would have put her at 152, which would have been good for second."

Taylor Lambrou (Baldwin, N.Y.) jumped four spots in the individual standings after shedding two strokes from her first-day total. Lambrou shot an 82 (+10) on Friday before turning in an 80 (+8) for Saturday's round. Lambrou moved into a tie for 19th.

"Taylor Lambrou shot her best round of the year with an 80," O'Connor said. "She was firing at pins - she hit five pins in the air on her approach shot. She made a great contribution to the team today."

Jenn Whaley (Farmington, Conn.) followed her first-day 81 with an 82 on Saturday and is currently tied for 24th while Angelica Muscatelli (No. Providence, R.I.) shot an 88 - a one-stroke improvement from Friday - to move up three spots into 46th place.

Quinnipiac will wrap-up the NEC Women's Golf Championship on Sunday, Apr. 28 at 10 a.m. from LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
