Women's Golf Completes Third Day At C&F Bank Intercollegiate Tournament
Final Results – C&F Bank Intercollegiate at Kingsmill
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Quinnipiac women's golf's Kayla Ketcheson (St. Andrews, Manitoba) led the Bobcats on the final day of the C&F Bank Intercollegiate Tournament at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va. Ketcheson shot an 85 on the final day for a combined 251 (85-81-85) for the three-day tournament. Ketcheson finished the tournament tied for 68th.
Ketcheson finished at +38 for the tournament. The junior was +9 on the front nine at Kingsmill, before parring on six of her last nine holes of the tournament – her best nine-hole stretch of the tournament.
Hannah Russell (Monson, Ma.) was second to Ketcheson with a 92 (+21) to wrap-up her three rounds with a 287 (+74) for the tournament. Amanda Nagel (Greenwood, Minn.) shaved three strokes off her Day Two total (97, +26) with a 94 (+23).
Sophomore Jennifer Forlenza (Wayne, N.J.) showed the greatest improvement of any of the Bobcats' golfers over the three-day event. Forlenza was +33 on Sunday, before shooting a +31, 102 on Monday. On Tuesday, Forlenza improved by eight strokes for a 94 (+23).
