The Quinnipiac women's golf team finished 13th out of the thirteen teams competing at the 2011 Brown University Spring Invitational at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, R.I. Amanda Nagel (Greenwood, Minn.) turned in her two best rounds of the year, shooting a 96 in the first round on Sunday before finishing with a 91 on Monday.
Nagel's totals on both days led the Bobcats, while Brianne Tansey (Nashua, N.H.) was a stroke behind (92) on the final day. Nagel's two-day 187 paced the Bobcats while Tansey finished at 192. Jennifer Forlenza (Wayne, N.J.)finished with a 106 on both days for a two-day 212. Elizabeth Emanuelson (North Haven, Conn.) and Stephanie Alwardt (Plymouth, Mass.) rounded out the Bobcats' field.
The Bobcats close-out its regular season on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16 when they travel to Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, N.Y. to compete in the Columbia Invitational.
