QU Women's Basketball's Road Game Against Manhattan Postponed to Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7:00 PM
The Quinnipiac women's basketball team's Monday road game against Manhattan has been postponed to Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Originally scheduled for tomorrow evening, the game date has been pushed back due to the impending three-day blizzard that'll work its way all across the Northeast.

QU Men’s and Women’s Basketball Team Up for 2015 Coaches Powering Forward for Autism Foundation
The Quinnipiac University men’s and women’s basketball teams have both announced their commitment to raise funds for Autism Speaks while participating in the 2015 Coaches Powering Forward for Autism. Those that wish to donate can visit the QU team donation page by clicking on the link above. Both teams will also be wearing pins on the weekend of Feb. 7-8 to support the cause.

Quinnipiac University women's basketball head coach Tricia Fabbri is set to appear on WQUN - 1220 AM at 5:40 pm on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015. Coach Fabbri spoke with AM 1220 WQUN Assistant General Manager Steve Savino earlier this week and the 10 minute interview is set to air this evening a little more than an hour before the Bobcats' tip-off against Marist College from the TD Bank Sports Center. QU Women's Basketball Defeats Marist in 2014 MAAC Championship Rematch, 73-55
The Quinnipiac University women's basketball team held serve on its home court Thursday night, defeating Marist College in a rematch of the 2014 MAAC Championship game, 73-55, before a healthy crowd of 1,007 at the TD Bank Sports Center. With the win, Quinnipiac improves to 17-3 overall and remains perfect in league play (9-0).

First Place in MAAC Standings on the Line as QU Women's Basketball Hosts Marist on Thursday at 7:00 PM
Thursday night brings one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the 2014-15 season as the Quinnipiac women’s basketball team (16-3, 8-0 MAAC) gets its first crack at Marist (11-6, 7-1 MAAC) at 7:00 pm from the TD Bank Sports Center. In a game that has the two sides playing one another for the first time since the 2014 MAAC Championship, Quinnipiac (five-game win streak) and Marist (four-game win streak) come in playing their best basketball of the season. This battle of the two top teams in the MAAC will give the winner possession of first place in the conference standings.

The Quinnipiac women's basketball team earned the No. 10 ranking in the most recent College Insider Mid-Major Poll, announced on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 by coaches on the select committee. This marks the 10th consecutive week in which Quinnipiac is ranked in the Top 25. Quinnipiac earns the No. 10 ranking for the second straight week but the pollsters keep giving the Bobcats more respect as QU earned a season-high 529 points in this week's installment.

QU Women’s Basketball Extends Unbeaten Streak to Six as Bobcats Cruise Past Manhattan, 85-51
Right from the opening tip, it was evident the Quinnipiac women’s basketball team came to play on Sunday. Having to overcome a three hour delay due to last night’s ice storm across the Northeast, the Bobcats showed no ill effects as Quinnipiac rode an explosive first half to the 85-51 victory over Manhattan. The win extends the Bobcats’ (16-3, 8-0 MAAC) unbeaten streak to six games overall, nine at home and eight to start conference play. The Jaspers fall to 2-15 overall and 1-7 in the MAAC with the loss.

The Quinnipiac women's basketball team earned the No. 10 ranking in the most recent College Insider Mid-Major Poll, announced on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 by coaches on the select committee. This marks the ninth consecutive week in which Quinnipiac is ranked in the Top 25. The No. 10 spot means Quinnipiac fell one spot from the No. 9 ranking one week ago but the pollsters still gave the Bobcats respect as QU totaled a season-high 498 points in this week's installment.

Adily Martucci Scores 17 Off the Bench to Lead QU Women's Basketball Past Canisius, 86-66
Showing no ill effects of the lengthy drive and shivering temperatures in Buffalo, the Quinnipiac women’s basketball team surged forward and defeated Canisius, 86-66, from the Koessler Athletic Center on Friday evening. Several of the Bobcat substitutes keyed the offensive attack in the first half while the five starters took over in the second stanza to seal the convincing win. The Bobcats’ victory improves Quinnipiac’s overall record to 13-3 while remaining undefeated in the MAAC (5-0). Canisius drops to 5-9 overall and 3-2 in the conference in the defeat.

The visiting Quinnipiac women’s basketball team faced some stiff competition throughout but the Bobcats proved their mettle and pulled out a 69-67 victory in the 22nd annual Hawk Classic over the host Saint Joseph’s on Sunday. Quinnipiac’s (10-2, 2-0 MAAC) resume continues to improve as the Bobcats’ victory is their seventh straight and also represents the fourth 2014 NCAA Tournament team the Bobcats have taken down this season. The Bobcats advance to the Hawk Classic Championship where they await to winner of Florida Gulf Coast and Cal State Northridge for a 4:00 pm tip on Monday from Saint Joseph’s Hagan Arena.

QU Women's Basketball Makes the Short Trip For MAAC Contest Against In-State Rival Fairfield on Sunday
Quinnipiac head coach Tricia Fabbri will go for her 300th career victory in a Sunday matchup against two in-state rivals both looking to remain unbeaten in MAAC play. The Bobcats (5-2, 1-0 MAAC) face a true test on Sunday afternoon as they walk into Alumni Hall looking to score a big win over the Fairfield Stags (2-5, 1-0 MAAC) to remain undefeated in conference play. Quinnipiac’s in-state rival gave the Bobcats all sorts of fits last year as Fairfield handed the Bobcats a 72-71 loss from Alumni Hall and also later in the season from TD Bank Sports Center in a game that ended with the Stags ahead, 61-52. The Quinnipiac University women’s basketball team defeated Alabama, 73-66, at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday morning to improve to 4-2 on the season. The Crimson Tide drop to 5-3 on the year as the Bobcats knock-off their first SEC foe in program history with the victory. Quinnipiac’s victory also concludes the Bobcats’ play in the 2014 Hall of Fame Women’s Challenge as their record moved to 2-2 throughout the four-game tournament.

The Fighting Irish represent the highest-ranked opponent Quinnipiac has ever played as well as the fifth ACC school in program record (0-6 all-time record against ACC institutions). The Quinnipiac women’s basketball team was ranked No. 16 in the most recent College Insider Mid-Major Poll, announced on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 by coaches on the select committee. This marks the second consecutive week in which Quinnipiac is ranked in the Top 25. The Bobcats are 3-2 overall, but have faced three schools ranked in the mid-major poll as well as the No. 1 nationally-ranked team Notre Dame.
