QU Women's Basketball Buckles Up For Matchup At No. 1 Notre Dame in Hall of Fame Women's Challenge
Fresh off a thrilling come-from-behind victory, the Quinnipiac University women’s basketball team (3-1, 0-0 MAAC) looks to pull a major upset on the road as the Bobcats challenge No. 2 nationally-ranked Notre Dame (5-0 0-0 ACC) on Tuesday night in the continuation of play at the 2014 Hall of Fame Women’s Challenge. The Fighting Irish represent the highest-ranked opponent Quinnipiac has ever played as well as the fifth ACC school in program record (0-6 all-time record against ACC institutions). Quinnipiac continues its three games in three days stretch with the reigning national runner-up Notre Dame, who comes in having won 57 straight regular season contests and 32 straight from the Purcell Pavilion.

In their opening appearance in the tournament last night, the Bobcats fell to Harvard, 87-83, in a tightly contested back-and-forth non-conference contest. Women's Basketball Announces 2014-15 Incoming Class

Val Driscoll (Stoughton, Massachusetts), Jennifer Fay (Lynbrook, New York), Brittany Johnson (Pickerington, Ohio), Sarah Shewan (Russell, Ontario), and Carly Fabbri (Stratford, Connecticut) are the newest Bobcats, having officially submitted their letters of intent to accept enrollment in Hamden.
