Women's Basketball Edged By Marist in First MAAC Action, 69-63
Jasmine Martin (Sicklerville, N.J.) scored a game-high 22 points in Friday night's ESPN3 clash with Marist, but in the end it was the Red Foxes who prevailed with a 69-63 victory at the TD Bank Sports Center. With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 4-5 overall and 0-1 in league play - in a game that marked Quinnipiac's first MAAC game in program history. Eight-time reigning MAAC champion Marist improved to 4-4 on the season and 1-0 in conference action.

Women's Basketball Hosts Marist in MAAC Opener on Friday Night at 6 PM; Game Aired Live On ESPN 3
The Quinnipiac Women's Basketball Team (4-4, 0-0 MAAC) will host their inaugural MAAC game on Friday, December 6th. The Bobcats are scheduled to take on Marist College (3-4, 0-0 MAAC) at 6:00 p.m. as part of a doubleheader at the TD Bank Sports Center.

Special Ticket Promotion Available at Men’s and Women’s Basketball Doubleheader on Friday Night
Quinnipiac University Athletics and the QU Spirit Group are working together to host a special ticket promotion on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013. The QU Spirit Group will be giving out vouchers for FREE TICKETS to future Quinnipiac athletic events at the men's and women's Basketball MAAC openers on Friday night – with all the action beginning at 6 p.m. from the TD Bank Sports Center.

Women’s Basketball Tops In-State Rival Hartford, 62-49
Behind double figures from Gillian Abshire (Washington, D.C.) and Brittany McQuain (Independence, Mo.), the Quinnipiac University women's basketball team defeated in-state rival Hartford, 62-49, at the TD Bank Sports Center on Wednesday night. With the win, the Bobcats improve to 4-4 on the season while the visiting Hawks fell to 1-7 overall. The game was aired live throughout the region on NESN.

The Quinnipiac Women’s Basketball Team (3-4, 0-0 MAAC) will host their final regular season non-conference home game on Wednesday, December 4th. The Bobcats are scheduled to take on the University of Hartford (1-6, 0-0 America East) at 7:06 p.m., a game that will be broadcasted live on the New England Sports Network (NESN).

Women's Basketball Ranked 24th In CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll
The Quinnipiac Women's Basketball team has continued to impress the voters at the College Insider Mid-Major Poll. Quinnipiac was ranked 24th in the most recent poll, announced on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013 by coaches on the committee. Quinnipiac is no stranger to this honor as they appeared in the poll on 17 different occasions last season.

Brittany McQuain Named MAAC Player of the Week
Senior forward Brittany McQuain (Independence, Mo.) of the Quinnipiac University women's basketball team has been named the MAAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, which was officially announced on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 by the league's front office.

Women's Basketball Falls to Saint Joseph's in Non-Conference Clash, 84-69
The Quinnipiac University women's basketball team featured four players with 10 or more points on Sunday afternoon, but it was not enough as the defending Atlantic 10 Champions Saint Joseph's University defeated the Bobcats, 84-69, at the TD Bank Sports Center. With the loss, Quinnipiac falls to 3-4 overall, while the visiting Hawks improve to 6-1 on the season.

Brittany McQuain Nets Career High 28 Points In Missouri Homecoming; Quinnipiac Erases 12 Point Second Half Deficit To Defeat Missouri State, 75-65
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Brittany McQuain (Independence,Mo.) scored a career high 28 points to along with 12 rebounds and went 10-11 from the free throw line in her Missouri homecoming as Quinnipiac defeated Missouri State 75-65 at JQH Arena. Jasmine Martin (Sickerville,NJ) had 13 points and four rebounds while Maria Napolitano (Cincinatti,Ohio), Camryn Warner (Keene,NH), and Ellen Cannon (West Chester, Pa.) each chipped in with nine points. Quinnipiac moves to 3-3 overall. Quinnipiac will have a few days off for Thanksgiving before hosting St Joseph’s on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 1 pm.

Women’s Basketball Holds Off American, 68-66; Abshire Sets Program Record with 14 Assists in Triumph
Gillian Abshire (Washington, D.C.) put the Bobcats ahead for good with a pair of late free-throws and set a new program record with 14 assists in the game to lead the Quinnipiac University women's basketball team past American, 68-66, on Saturday afternoon at the TD Bank Sports Center. With the win, the Bobcats improve to 2-3 on the season and extend their current home winning-streak to 17 games dating back to last season.

After wrapping up their first appearance in the prestigious Preseason WNIT, the Quinnipiac Women’s Basketball Team will travel to Big East Power St. John’s for a matchup on Wednesday night at 7 PM. These two teams met just last season on Dec. 22,2012. The Bobcats were able to pull off the upset 75-72 in Hamden,Conn.

McQuain Joins 1000 Point Club; Bobcats Fall to UT Martin in Overtime, 102-97
Brittany McQuain (Independence, Mo.) became the 19th player in school history to join the 1000 point club, but the Quinnipiac Bobcats fell to three-time defending Ohio Valley Conference Champion UT Martin 102-97 in overtime in the consolation round of the Preseason WNIT.

Women's Basketball Falls to No. 5 Louisville in Preseason WNIT, 100-82
Despite a career high from Gillian Abshire (Washington, D.C.) with 20 points and a career high from Nikoline Ostergaard (Vedbaek, Denmark) with 14 points, as well as holding Preseason Wooden Award Nominee Shoni Schimmel to 1-for-13 shooting, the Quinnipiac Bobcats fell to nationally-ranked No. 5 Louisville on Monday night in the Preseason WNIT, 100-82. With the victory Louisville moves on to the semifinals to face LSU while Quinnipiac will play in a consolation bracket that is to be determined.

After defeating North Carolina A&T in the first round of the preseason WNIT Quinnipiac Women’s Basketball will face off against the 2013 NCAA National Runner- Up,the Louisville Cardinals. The winner moves on to the Preseason WNIT Semifinals. The loser will play in a consolation game.

The Bobcats welcomed North Carolina A&T to Hamden for the opening round of the Preseason WNIT, and handed the Aggies a 77-63 win to advance to the second round of competition. Quinnipiac Athletics Announces 2013-14 Television and Bobcats Unleashed Schedule
The Quinnipiac University Department of Athletics & Recreation has announced the 2013-14 television schedule for the upcoming men’s ice hockey and men’s and women’s basketball season. Quinnipiac will have 19 total games featured live on ESPN3, ESPNU, New England Sports Network (NESNHD), Sportsnet NY (SNY) and Fox College Sports (FCS). In addition, all of Quinnipiac’s home contests can be seen live, free of charge, on YouTube.com.

Patricia Hayes and Keith Gaither To Be Recognized With MAAC Honor Roll Induction
In conjunction with the 2014 MAAC Basketball Championships at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass., the MAAC has announced the latest class to be inducted in the MAAC Honor Roll, in which honorees will be enshrined in “The MAAC Experience” exhibit at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Longtime Bobcat fans, Patricia Hayes and Keith Gaither, have been rewarded with the honor on Quinnipiac’s behalf.

Tricia Fabbri Named All Mid-Major Preseason Coach of the Year
College Sports Madness has recently announced their All Mid-Major teams on Thursday and Head Coach Tricia Fabbri was given a tremendous honor by being named All Mid-Major Preseason Coach of the Year. The Mid-Major Conferences are comprised of 16 conferences from the MAAC to the America East to the Sun Belt.

Women’s Basketball and Ice Hockey Teams Participate in Fuel 60 Event at BearPath Elementary School
Members of the Quinnipiac University women’s basketball and women’s ice hockey teams recently enjoyed a trip to Bear Path Elementary School as part of QU's Positive Play Initiative - a program that is designed to heighten community service activity by Quinnipiac's student-athletes, coaches and staff. Several Bobcats partook in Fuel 60, a national program aimed towards improving healthy eating and physical activity.

Women’s Basketball Announces 2013-14 Non-Conference Schedule
If the Quinnipiac women’s basketball team is going to return to the NCAA Tournament in 2014 it will have a solid building base to start from with a challenging non-conference schedule. Head Coach Tricia Fabbri has announced a 10-game slate that features five opponents who are coming off of an NCAA Tournament or WNIT bid last year – with the potential of seeing seven teams that advanced to postseason play.
