Women's Basketball Plays Host To Fairleigh Dickinson On Senior Day, Saturday At Noon

Senior Day The Quinnipiac University women's basketball team will
host Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 12 p.m. at the TD
Bank Sports Center. The Bobcats enter Saturday's game after
defeating Bryant, 81-67, Monday night, while the Knights are coming
off a 79-76 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 21. Quinnipiac has
clinched a spot in postseason play with a 10-6 mark in the
Northeast Conference, while Fairleigh Dickinson looks to secure a
position in the NEC Tournament at 7-9. Quinnipiac will honor four
seniors prior to the start of the game, including Alyssa Jann
(Westford, Mass.), Lailah
Pratt (Palmyra, N.J.), Courtney
Kaminski (Dudley, Mass.) and Mia
Picillo (Derry, N.H.).

Fairleigh Dickinson In their most recent outing, the Knights held off Robert
Morris, 79-76, in their final home game of the regular season. The
win was Fairleigh Dickinson's first against the Colonials since
2004. The Knights were led by junior Mariyah Laury, who posted a
team-high 24 points and added four assists and three steals in the
win. Jasmyra Saunders (12), Danielle Pankey (11) and senior Alyssa
Mayrose (10) each scored in double figures. Fairleigh Dickinson
leads the conference in blocks, averaging 5.04 per game, and is
ranked third in the NEC in defensive-rebounds average (26.67) and a
.707 field goal percentage. Mariyah Laury is second amongst NEC
players in scoring, averaging 15.9 points per game. Esther Wallace
is tied for 12th in rebounding, averaging 6.7 boards per
game. Wallace also leads the NEC with 73 blocks on the year. All-Time
Against The Knights Saturday's game marks
the 25th meeting between Quinnipiac and Fairleigh
Dickinson. The Bobcats lead the all-time series, 20-4. The Knights
won the most recent meeting between the two schools, 55-52, on Jan.
10, 2011.

Stripe Stats In each of the Bobcats' 13 wins this season, the team has
outscored their opponent from the free-throw line. The Bobcats
recorded a season-high 29 free-throws at Bryant on Feb. 21.

Kaminski has compiled 299 points this season and is looking to
close down on 300-season points against Fairleigh Dickinson. In
addition, Felicia
Barron picked up her 300th-season point against the Blue Devils
on Feb. 19. So far, Barron has accumulated 327 points this year.

Goodchild looks to close down on 200-season points, with 191

NEC Notes Quinnipiac is second in the NEC, averaging 64.6 points per
game. The Bobcats are also third in the conference in rebounds,
averaging 40.4 boards per game. In addition, Quinnipiac is ranked
fourth in assists (13.22) and blocks (4) per game. Courtney
Kaminski is tied at sixth in the conference in points per game
(13), while Felicia
Barron is in 13th (12.1). Brittany
McQuain is ranked 10th with 6.9 rebounds per game,
while Kaminski is 17th, averaging 6.2 boards per game.

Barron is ranked fifth amongst conference players in assists,
averaging 4.0 per game. Kari
Goodchild rounds out the top-30 of the NEC in minutes played,
