Bobcats Back In New York
The Quinnipiac University women's basketball team will play St. Francis (N.Y.) in a Northeast Conference contest on Monday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Peter Aquilone Court in Brooklyn Heights, N.Y. The Bobcats are coming off a 70-58 loss at Long Island Saturday, while the Terriers fell to Sacred Heart, 74-45, in their most recent outing. Quinnipiac is currently tied with Monmouth for fourth place in the NEC at 7-4, while St. Francis (N.Y.) is in 12th place at 0-11 in conference play.

Scouting St. Francis (N.Y.)
The Terriers (2-20, 0-11 NEC) enter Monday's game after losing to Sacred Heart, 74-45, on Saturday, Feb. 5. St. Francis (N.Y.) was led by Autumn Lau, who posted a team-high 17 points and six rebounds in the defeat. In addition, the Terriers' Amber Lau and Kayla Williams each scored eight points. Autumn Lau leads St. Francis (N.Y.) with 12.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Jasmine Robinson averages 7.1 points per game, while Amber Lau averages 6.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Kiley Grabbe leads the Terriers with 13 blocks on the season, while Robinson has compiled a team-high 27 steals this year. Overall, St. Francis (N.Y.) averages 47.3 points and 31.6 rebounds per game.

All-Time Against The Terriers

Monday night's game marks the 22nd meeting between Quinnipiac and St. Francis (N.Y.). The Bobcats lead the all-time series, 15-6, and won their last outing against the Terriers, 72-55, last season. Courtney Kaminski led Quinnipiac with 17 points in the win, while Lailah Pratt and Jacinda Dunbar added 10 and 12 points, respectively.

Quinnipiac dropped to 7-4 in conference play, as it lost to Long Island, 70-58, on Saturday. The Bobcats were led by Brittany McQuain who recorded her third career double-double, collecting a career-high 14 points and an additional 10 rebounds. Kari Goodchild pulled down a career and team-high 12 rebounds in the match-up. Despite only a two-point deficit, 26-24, at the break, the Bobcats were unable to come back in the second half.

Leading Ladies
The Bobcats are currently led by Courtney Kaminski, who averages 5.8 rebounds and a team-high 12.9 points per game. Quinnipiac's Brittany McQuain is the team's top-rebounder, averaging 6.2 per game. In addition, McQuain has collected a team-high 18 blocks this year. Felicia Barron averages 12.3 points per game and leads the Bobcats with 97 assists and 42 steals. Barron continues to lead Quinnipiac from three-point range, as she's compiled 41 three-pointers on the season.

Making Noise In The NEC
The Bobcats are second in the conference in scoring offense, averaging 65.2 points per game. Quinnipiac is also in the top-five of the NEC in assists and steals, averaging 14.1 and 8.6 per game, respectively.

NEC Notes
Two Bobcats rank in the top-10 of the NEC in scoring. Quinnipiac's Courtney Kaminski is ranked seventh, averaging 12.9 points per game, while Felicia Barron is in ninth, averaging 12.3 points per game. Brittany McQuain is currently 15th in the conference in rebounding, averaging 6.2 rebounds per game, and 11th in blocked shots (0.82/game) with 18 on the year. In addition, Barron leads the NEC in assist-to-turnover ratio and is third in the NEC, averaging 4.41 assists per game.

Barron From Behind The Arc
Felicia Barron has finished at least one three-point attempt in 18 games this season. With 41 three-pointers on the year, Barron also is ranked fifth in the NEC in three-point field goals made.

Stats Against Saint Francis (Pa.)
Quinnipiac lost to Saint Francis (Pa.), 77-64 on Jan. 31. Despite the defeat, the Bobcats outrebounded the Red Flash, 43-39. Quinnipiac's Kari Goodchild scored a career-high 20 points and added a team-high seven rebounds, while Courtney Kaminski picked up 13 points. Felicia Barron, Jacinda Dunbar and Brittany McQuain each recorded nine points in the game.

Robert Morris At Home
The Bobcats lost to Robert Morris, 75-67, on Jan. 29 at home. Four Bobcats compiled double figures in the contest, including Brittany McQuain and Jacinda Dunbar, who pulled down 12 and 10 rebounds, respectively. Kari Goodchild scored a team-high 16 points, while Courtney Kaminski picked up 14 points. Overall, the Bobcats collected 22 assists and outrebounded Robert Morris, 49-45. Quinnipiac also scored 16 second-chance points off of 17 offensive rebounds. The Bobcats' bench added 15 points in the game.
Assisting The Win
The Bobcats have posted 20 or more assists in five games this season, recording a season-high 22 assists in the loss against Robert Morris.

Swept Off Their Feet
The Bobcats swept the NEC's weekly awards for the week of Jan. 25, as Felicia Barron was named Choice Hotels NEC Player of the Week and Brittany McQuain was selected as the Choice Hotels NEC Rookie of the Week, each for the first time this season. Courtney Kaminski was also honored by the NEC as Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 18, after scoring a career-high 32 points versus CCSU.

A Strong Start
Prior to the Bobcats' most recent losses, they held a 7-1 NEC record, placing them at the top of the conference. The last time Quinnipiac had a 7-1 start in NEC play was during the 2007-2008 season.

A Win At Wagner
On Jan. 24, the Bobcats beat Wagner, for the second time this season. In the 77-62 win, Quinnipiac outrebounded Wagner, 38-33. The Bobcats scored 24-of-31 buckets from the free-throw line, while the Seahawks only scored 16 free throws in the match. Quinnipiac posted 14 second-chance points and scored 22 points off of Wagner's 25 turnovers.

She Shoots... She Scores
The Bobcats had five different players score above 10 points against Wagner on Monday night. Quinnipiac's Felicia Barron was the team's top scorer with 22 points, while Jacinda Dunbar added 16 points in the game. Kari Goodchild, Courtney Kaminski and Brittany McQuain each scored 11 points in the contest. McQuain also pulled down 11 rebounds, collecting her second career double-double this season.

Magic At the Mount
Quinnipiac won its third straight NEC contest against Mount St. Mary's, 74-60, on Jan. 22. The Bobcats led for the entire game, for their second time this season. Quinnipiac held a 43-21 advantage at the end of the first half and increased its lead to as many as 28 points with only 15 minutes remaining in the game. Felicia Barron (25), Brittany McQuain (12) and Jacinda Dunbar (11) each scored in double-figures. Freshman Brittany Hill recorded a career-high eight points and five rebounds against the Mountaineers.

For the first time this season, the Bobcats shot 50 percent from the floor, scoring 27-of-50 baskets against the Mount. The last time Quinnipiac held a field-goal percentage of 50 percent was against Central Michigan on Dec. 29, 2009.

Felicia's Ferocious
After scoring 22 points against Bryant, Felicia Barron broke her career record again, as she scored a game-high 25 points against Mount St. Mary's. Barron has posted double-figures in 12 games this season. In addition, the sophomore sank six-of-seven three-point attempts against the Mount. Mandy Pennewell is the last Quinnipiac player to score six or more three-pointers in a single game, six at Central Connecticut on Jan. 24, 2010.

Bobcats Beat Bulldogs
Quinnipiac beat Bryant, 85-74, on Jan. 17. The Bobcats led for the entire game and held their biggest lead, a 20-point advantage, 46-26, towards the end of the first half. The team had two 20-plus scorers, for the first time this year. Felicia Barron and Courtney Kaminski posted 22 points and 21 points, respectively. In addition, Brittany McQuain compiled 13 points and eight rebounds, while Kari Goodchild put up 13 points.

Three's Company
In the Bryant match-up, the Bobcats shot a season-high 69.2 percent from behind the arc, as they finished 9-of-13 three-pointers The last time Quinnipiac made 8 or more three-pointers in a single game, was at Robert Morris on Feb. 20, 2009.

Fabbri Earns 150th Conference Win
Head Coach Tricia Fabbri won her 150th career conference win against Bryant.

Bobcats Versus Blue Devils
The Bobcats beat in-state rival Central Connecticut State, 76-75, on Jan. 15. Sophomore Felicia Barron's three-pointer at the buzzer gave Quinnipiac its one-point lead in the victory. Overall, the Bobcats outshot the Blue Devils from both the field and the line. Quinnipiac scored 17 second-chance points off of 14 offensive rebounds in the contest. Three Bobcats put up double-figures, including Courtney Kaminski (32), Brittany McQuain (12), and Felicia Barron (11).

Posting Points
Senior Courtney Kaminski scored a career-high 32 points and pulled-down eight rebounds in Saturday's game. The last Quinnipiac woman's basketball player to score above 30 points was Erin Kerner, with 32 points, against St. Francis (Pa.) on Jan. 10, 2009.

Barron Beats The Buzzer
Felicia Barron made an impact in the Bobcats' fifth home win of the season. Besides scoring the game-winning basket, she also compiled 11 points and a career-high nine rebounds.

Charity Stripe Stats
In each of the Bobcats' 10 wins this season, the team has outscored their opponent from the free-throw line. The Bobcats recorded a season-high 28 free-throws at Monmouth on Jan. 7.

1,000-Points And Beyond
Courtney Kaminski currently has compiled 1,228 career-points, placing her as the 13th all-time career-scorer at Quinnipiac. Kaminski became the 17th Quinnipiac women's basketball player to score 1,000 points, as she scored 10 points in Quinnipiac's home-opener against Holy Cross this season.

Double Trouble
Courtney Kaminski has picked up two double-doubles, while Brittany McQuain has earned three this season. Kaminski posted 10 points and 10 rebounds against FDU and recorded 14 points and 11 rebounds in the Bobcats second outing against UNH. In the Bobcats most recent outing at LIU, McQuain collected 14 points and 10 rebounds. She also put up 11 points and 11 rebounds against Wagner and compiled 10 points and 10 rebounds against USC on Nov. 28.

Making A Comeback
Since posting a -25.0 scoring margin for the month of November, Quinnipiac has since narrowed the gap to -4.5 points.

What's Ahead In The NEC
The Bobcats will host Sacred Heart on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center.
