The Quinnipiac University women's basketball begins its
annual western Pennsylvania road trip against Saint Francis (Pa.)
on Thursday afternoon in Loretto, Pa. The Bobcats and Red Flash
will meet at DeGol Arena at 5 p.m. in a Northeast Conference
matchup with the postseason just two weeks away. Quinnipiac is
currently in the final playoff spot with a 5-9 league mark, while
Saint Francis' 7-7 NEC record has it in sixth. The Bobcats are
coming off a 12-point loss, 66-54, to Long Island on Saturday in
their most recent game.
Scouting the Red Flash
Saint Francis comes into the game sporting almost the
identical overall record as the Bobcats as it has a 10-14 record to
Quinnipiac's 10-15 mark. The Red Flash have a two-game lead over
the Bobcats entering the game at 7-7 in league play. After
back-to-back losses to Robert Morris and an 89-76 loss at Bryant,

Team, Back Again
The combination of Courtney Kaminski (Dudley, Mass.) and Jacinda
Dunbar (Edison, N.J.) scored 31 of the Bobcats' 54 points on
Saturday. Kaminski led the way with a team-high 16 points, while
Dunbar dropped in 15 in the loss. This season, the duo has led the
team in scoring in 17 of 25 games, including in each of the last
13.
Right On The Head
Senior Kathleen Neyens (Jaffrey, N.H.) needed just one
rebound entering Saturday's game with the Blackbirds to reach 500
in her career. She grabbed the board in the opening minutes of the
game, but did not grab another, tying her season-low with the one
rebound in the game.
Bench Points
The Bobcats had 11 points off the bench against LIU.
Junior Lailah Pratt (Palmyra, N.J.) scored eight of the 11, while
also adding six rebounds in 26 minutes of play. Pratt finished the
game 4-of-6 from the field, matching her career and season high in
field goals.
Defensive Prowess
Dunbar bested her previous career and season high in
steals against the Blackbirds. Dunbar recorded six in the game, two
more than her previous high of four set against New Hampshire
earlier this season. Dunbar disrupted passes and stripped LIU
players down low for the team season high in steals.
Lending a Hand
Freshman guard Lisa Lebak's (Robbinsville, N.J.) five
assists against LIU put her over the 100-assist mark for the season
and rank her seventh in Quinnipiac's Division I single-season
history. Lebak is the first freshman to record 100 or assists in a
season since Erin Kerner in 2005-06. She now has two more assists
(101) than she does points (99) this season.
