As a Freshman: Was an offensive force in just her first year with the Bobcats, breaking an 18-year-old single-season program record for hits and becoming just the second player in Quinnipiac history to win three Rookie of the Week honors…Solt finished her freshman campaign with a .375 batting average, .415 on-base percentage, .483 slugging percentage, 37 runs, 18 RBI, nine doubles, nine stolen bases and five triples…She made an immediate impact as her 66 hits in 2013 broke Kerri McMahon’s previous single-season record of 65 established all the way back in 1995…Solt also piled up a team-high nine stolen bases and led the Northeast Conference with her five triples…She also finished in the Top-40 in the nation among hitters as the ‘Toughest to Strikeout’ with just seven punchouts in 191 plate appearances…For her efforts Solt was named to the College Sports Madness All-NEC Second Team as her all-around numbers staked up nicely alongside her counterparts throughout the conference…Picked up her first career hit against UNC Greensboro with an RBI double (2/23)…Singled and scored a run against Loyola (Ill.) Before Quinnipiac: The Boyertown, Pa. native was named 2011 Tom Doyle Tournament Most Valuable Player...Solt competed on the PA Tuff N’ Tuffer Gold club team and during the summer of 2011 she batted .550, while collecting 42 runs, 18 RBI, 14 doubles, nine triples and 36 stolen bases…In addition, Solt volunteered as a softball coach and ski instructor and helped organize Community Unity Walk in her hometown…A two-year honor roll student, Solt intends to major in psychology.
