Quinnipiac Softball Hosts Youth Clinic
GREENWICH, Conn. - Members of the Quinnipiac University softball
team hosted a clinic for the Lady Redbirds competitive girl's youth
fast pitch softball organization at the Boys and Girls Club of
Greenwich, Conn. on Sunday, Feb. 13. Head Coach Germaine

Lipson and student-athletes Joelle
Jacobsen (Flemington, N.J.), Emily
O'Keefe (Southington, Conn.), Kim
Brzezinski (Tinley Park Ill.) and Jordan
Paolucci (Lake Mary, Fla.), facilitated the clinic.
"The Lady Redbird organization provides a great opportunity for
serious, young softball players to learn about the game of softball
and improve their skills," said Quinnipiac Head Coach Germaine
Fairchild. "The QU Softball Program is honored to have been
invited to share our knowledge with this fine organization."
The coaches and players covered fundamental base running, basic
infield, outfield, and catching skills, and batting tee drills at
the clinic.
The Bobcats will play at the Longwood Classic at Longwood
University on Feb. 26 and Feb. 27. The Bobcats will face Bucknell,
Longwood, and Stony Brook at the tournament.
