As a freshman: Started two games for the Bobcats...Drove in one run.

Before Quinnipiac: Played four years as a scholar athlete at Higley High School in Gilbert, Ariz...Was named to the First and Second All-Region teams in her time at Higley...Was awarded the Golden Glove Award...Was team captain...Also played varsity volleyball for three years, and varsity soccer for one year.

Personal: Born in Gilbert, Ariz. to Rhonda and Aaron Pines...Has two younger siblings, Cameron and Jarod and an older sister Elizabeth who plays softball at Cornell University.
