Men's Cross Country Finishes 2013 Season with 29th Place Finish (out of 37 teams) at NCAA Northeast Regional
The Quinnipiac men's cross country team wrapped up their 2013 season with a 29th place finish, out of 37 teams, at the NCAA Northeast Regional event from Van Cortlandt Park. The Bobcats' All-MAAC performer in sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) closed out his breakout season with a Top 100 finish to lead the way once again for Quinnipiac. The NCAA Regional event was won by Syracuse with 57 points while the Bobcats tallied 923, third-most among six MAAC competitors.

Men's Cross Country Freshman Kyle Liang to Appear on Q30's "Late Night with Kevin Carroll" on Thursday at 9:30 PM
Quinnipiac men's cross country freshman Kyle Liang (Norwich, Conn.) is set to appear as a special guest on Q30 Television's “Late Night with Kevin Carroll” on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 9:30 pm. The show features a live studio audience from the Carl Hansen Student Center newly renovated piazza.

Men's Cross Country Names Six to MAAC All-Academic Team
A total of six members of the Quinnipiac men's cross country team were named to the 2013 MAAC Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team on Nov. 1, 2013. Quinnipiac’s was tied for fifth in the conference but on a percentage-based number, the Bobcats had the highest percentage of players on the team make the All-Academic Team among all eligible institutions.

Brendan Copley Earns All-MAAC Honor to Spearhead Men's Cross Country's 7th Place Finish at MAAC Championship
Racing against one of the premier cross country programs in the nation, the Quinnipiac men's cross country team managed to score some impressive individual results on their way to a 7th place finish at the MAAC Championship on Friday. Sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) powered through the 8k course at Van Cortlandt Park to pick up a 10th place finish and All-MAAC honor to lead the way for the Bobcats. The No. 8 nationally-ranked Iona Gaels won their 23rd straight MAAC title as they finished with a mere 15 points, 58 more than the second place finisher Canisius.

First Ever MAAC Championship on the Line for Men's Cross Country on Friday from Van Cortlandt Park
The traditionally dominant Quinnipiac men's cross country team looks to regain its championship form in their first ever MAAC Championship on Friday. After finishing no worse than second from 2003-09, the Bobcats went through a lull from 2010-11 before finishing a mere seven points out of first place in the 2012 NEC Championship. Now armed with two of the most talented runners in the conference in sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) and junior Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.), the Bobcats will look to make some noise in their first year in the MAAC.

Jacob Cetera and Ryan Wolff Honored for Senior Day; Men's Cross Country Places 7th (out of 15) at CCSU Mini Meet
In a day filled with pre and post-race festivities, the Quinnipiac men's cross country team put together a strong day of running with a 7th place result at the CCSU Mini Meet. Seniors Jacob Cetera (Chicago, Ill.) and Ryan Wolff (Mount Holly, N.J.) were honored in the Bobcats' Senior Day mementoes before the start of Friday’s race for all their contributions to the program in their respective careers. Quinnipiac finished the meet with 204 points including a Top-5 finish from sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) while Providence (65 points) won the meet.

Brendan Copley Honored as MAAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Quinnipiac men's cross country sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) earned his second MAAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week award of the season, as announced by the league office on Tuesday, Oct. 16. Copley’s second Runner of the Week honor places him in a tie with Manhattan’s Mikael Rojeras for the most of any MAAC athlete this season.

Men's Cross Country Tallies 20th Place Result at New England Championships, Brendan Copley (20th) Paces Bobcats' Effort
Quinnipiac men's cross country sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) continues his strong running this season to lead the Bobcats to a 20th place result out of 41 teams on Saturday. The team's finishing positions is a three-spot improvement for the Bobcats from their 2012 New England Championship result as the team is starting to round into form in preparation for the MAAC Championship in two weeks. The Bobcats tallied 530 points as a team to finish in 20th place while former NEC challenger, Central Connecticut State, took first place with 74 points.

Men's Cross Country Posts 11th Place Result (out of 46 teams) in the Paul Short Men's Brown 8k Run
The Quinnipiac men's cross country team was on their game Saturday from Lehigh University in the Paul Short Invitational, as they combined for an 11th place result out of 46 teams in competition. The Bobcats were lifted once again by their dynamic duo of sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) and junior Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.) as they navigated their way through a crowded mass of 372 runners to both post Top-20 finishes. Quinnipiac's 11th place finish and 399 points marks an improvement from their 12th place showing in the 2012 Paul Short Invitational. Princeton took down the title with 94 total points.

Men's Cross Country Posts 16th Place Finish (out of 20) at Iona Meet of Champions
The Quinnipiac men's cross country team was lifted by sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) but the Bobcats couldn’t get much footing at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday as they placed 16th out of 20 teams in the Iona Meet of Champions. No. 13 nationally-ranked Iona took the crown in their home meet with a first place finish in dominating fashion, finishing with 37 points, 60 points ahead of second place Yale (97 points). The Bobcats finished with 454 points amongst a crowded field of 210 competitors.

Copley, Mannion Dominate Again To Lead Men's Cross Country to Third Place at Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Race
Another strong performance from Quinnipiac men’s cross country sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) and junior Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.) led the Bobcats to a third place showing at the Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Race, hosted by Bryant University. Copley raced to a fourth place finish in the overall standings as Quinnipiac compiled 70 points to finish third out of seven teams, behind only ranked opponents Northeastern and Boston University.

Brendan Copley Named MAAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Quinnipiac men's cross country sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) earned the first MAAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award. The two-time Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week a year ago picked up the first MAAC Weekly cross country award in Quinnipiac’s inaugural season in the MAAC.

Men's Cross Country Opens with Second Place Result at Stony Brook Invitational; Copley, Mannion Finish 1st, 2nd Overall
There couldn't have been a better way to start the 2013 season for the members of the Quinnipiac men's cross country team as they raced out to a second place finish in the Stony Brook Invitational on Saturday. Sophomore Brendan Copley (Colchester, Vt.) and junior Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.) became the first Bobcat teammates to ever finish as the first and second place finishers in the same event. The Bobcats finished with 44 points, just eight behind the host Stony Brook who claimed the team victory.

Quinnipiac's Cross Country Summer Challenge Results Announced
Quinnipiac University hosted its annual Cross Country Summer Challenge on Saturday, August 3 from the Mount Carmel campus. The 5k race was sponsored by the Woodbridge Running Company with a male and female division. The results have been announced as the top male and female finishers received gift certificates to the Woodbridge Running Company.

Quinnipiac University Men's Cross Country head coach Carolyn Martin has announced the team's schedule for the 2013 season. The slate features six events prior to the MAAC Championships, the ECAC Championships and the NCAA Regionals in November.
