Freshman Brendan Copley secured his second top-10 finishes in as many races to start the season. Senior Rich Klauber finished seconds behind Copley in 11th place to lead Quinnipiac as they bested seven other NEC competitors on Saturday Sep. 8.
Seniors Rich Klauber, Mike Levene, and Edgar Carrasco will all be taking part in their final home meet on Saturday and will be honored before the start of the women's event at 10:00 a.m. Each runner has had a distinguished career and has certainly left their mark on the program.
Klauber Career Highlights
He helped guide the Bobcats to a third straight Northeast Conference crown during his freshman year as he won the Outstanding Performer of the Year in 2008. He followed with a second place finish in the 2009 NEC Championship to earn his second All-Conference merit. Klauber already has a second place finish at the Stony Brook Invitational to earn his third career NEC Athlete of the Week honor.
Levene Career Highlights
Levene has been a mainstay for the program in the past four seasons. Quinnipiac named him the Male Athlete of the Month for September 2010 and he led the Bobcats in five of the six races he competed during his sophomore year. Last season he was the first Bobcat to cross the finish line in the NCAA Northeast Regionals.
Carrasco Career Highlights

He achieved a personal-best time at the 2011 New England Championships as he finished in 28:45.
