As a Freshman in 2008: Won the 2008 NEC Outstanding Performer of the Year and Freshman of the Eyar following a standout campaign…Helped guide the Bobcats to their third consecutive NEC crown as he navigated the five-mile Holmdel Park course in 26:20.1, winning the event by just over 13 seconds.

Before Quinnipiac: United States of America Track & Field All-American...Named to the All-New England Team his junior and senior season...All-State his sophomore, junior and senior seasons...A member of the All-Berkshire League Team each of his four seasons at Thomaston High School...Member of the All-Northeast Team...Captain of both indoor and outdoor track teams during his senior season...All-State in 3200 meter race and the 4x800 meter race in indoor track...All-New England in the 3200 meter race in outdoor track...All-State in the 1600 meter and 4x800 meter races in outdoor...
