Before Quinnipiac: Attended Lincoln Park High School, where he won three cross country varsity-letters and was a two-year varsity athlete in track...Was captain his senior year in cross country, indoor and outdoor track...Was awarded All-Conference Honors in cross country in 2007-2008...Was the Indoor track 3200m Champion in 2010... In High School, he ran a personal-best 16:30 in the 5k, 10:15 in the two-mile run, 4:43 in the one-mile, and 2:-5 in the 800-meter run...Was an AP Scholar International Baccalaureate Diploma recipient.
