Men's Track Runs At Final Day Of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – The Quinnipiac University men's track team ran in the final day of the Penn Relays at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field. The Bobcats competed in one event on Saturday afternoon, running in the 4x800-meter relay. Seniors Chris Foster (Mystic, Conn.) and Steve Pilch, (Medford Lakes, N.J.) and freshmen Andrew Sullivan (Ellington, Conn.) and Sean Ramsey (Southbury, Conn.) combined to finish 31st overall with a time of 8:11.56.

Quinnipiac returns to action Sunday, April 26, at the Yale Springtime Invitational, beginning at noon. Before the start of the meet, the Quinnipiac University Department of Athletics and Recreation will honor six seniors running in their last local meet as members of the Bobcats. Sasha Varanka (Amherst, N.H.), Abbey Gosling (Meredith, N.H.) and Lesley Colburn of the women's track team will be honored, while Pilch, Foster and Jack McDonald (Cheshire, Conn.) will also be recognized.
