Men's Indoor Track Distance Medley Relay Team Runs At Boston University

BOSTON – Quinnipiac's men's indoor team competed in one race, the distance medley relay, on Friday at the Terrier Invitational at Boston University. The Bobcats finished sixth of 13 teams with a time of 10:15.67. That time qualified the team for the IC4A championship meet later in the season. Tyler Dinnan (Juneau, Alaska) ran the 1200 meter in 3:04, while Steven Pilch (Medford Lakes, N.J.) ran the 400-meter leg in 52 seconds. Brendan Amoruso (Northport, N.Y.) ran the 800-meter portion in 1:58, while Jack McDonald (Cheshire, Conn.) anchored the race in the 1600-meter leg with a time of 4:21.

"This was a great race and I am really happy with the way they performed today," said Head Coach Shawn Green. "We are very happy to qualify for the IC4A. This team has made a great deal of progress in the last two weeks."

The entire men's meet will start Saturday morning, while the women's distance medley relay team will also compete in the second day. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and can be seen at by clicking the link above.
