HAMDEN, Conn. The Quinnipiac University men's cross country team landed in the latest New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association poll. The Bobcats remain in 14th place for the second week in a row after finishing 17th of 28 teams at the Penn State Invitational on Friday. Richard Klauber (Thomaston, Conn.) led the Bobcats with a 72nd-place finish with a time of 26:36 on the 5.2 mile course.
Junior Tyler Dinnan (Juneau, Alaska) finished 95th overall with a time of 26:53. Freshman Dan Roark (Dracut, Mass.) and sophomore John Greenlaw (Hampstead, N.H.) were the next two Quinnipiac runners to finish. Roark finished 102nd overall with a time of 26:59, while Greenlaw finished in 119th place with a time of 27:13.
The Bobcats return to action Saturday, Nov.1, when they compete in the Northeast Conference Championships at Holmdel Park, N.J. Quinnipiac won the Monmouth Invitational on this course on Sept. 19 as Klauber was the top men finisher.
