As a sophomore (indoors):
Set what was then a personal record at the collegiate level in the 3000m (8:58.55) at URI's Sorlein Memorial Indoor Classic on Jan. 20... placed seventh in the 3000m (8:54.80) and set a personal record at the NEC Championships on Feb. 10...competed in the 3000m (8:59.75) at the New England Championships on Feb. 24.

As a sophomore (cross country):
Finished 59th overall and 17th on the team in 29:25.2 at the Quinnipiac Invitational on Sept. 22.

Before Quinnipiac:
Competed in cross country and outdoor track for six years, and indoor track for four years at Commack High School...honored all-league in cross country...honored all-league, all-division, and all-county in indoor track...honored all-league, all-division, all-county, and all-state in outdoor track...team was league champs.

Born in Huntington, N.Y...son of Denise and Thomas Martin...majoring in history.
