HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University men's tennis match with Stony Brook University was cancelled midway through the contest due to inclement weather on Tuesday afternoon. The Bobcats and the Seawolves will not make up the match.
The two teams did complete the doubles portion of the non-conference clash as the Seawolves took the point with three straight wins. Eric Ambrosio (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y.) and Chris Nelson (Scituate, Mass.) put forth the best effort but dropped the tie-breaker for an 8-7 loss at No. 3 doubles.

Quinnipiac is back in action Friday, April 19 with the 2013 Northeast Conference Tournament. The Bobcats will take on the sixth-seeded Monmouth Hawks in the quarterfinals at Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, N.J.
