Men’s Tennis Sweeps Hofstra on Senior Day, 7-0

HAMDEN, Conn. – In front of family and friends on Mount Carmel Campus, the Quinnipiac University men's tennis team breezed past Hofstra University, 7-0, on Sunday afternoon while celebrating Senior and Alumni Day at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts. Prior to the match, Quinnipiac honored its senior class members, Garrett Lane (Reading, Mass.), Alex Lazerowich (Stratham, N.H.), Chris Nelson (Scituate, Mass.) and Fahoum Fahoum (Haifa, Israel), for their dedication and commitment to the men's tennis program.

Quinnipiac, now 8-11 overall and winners in four of its last five matches, continued to make progress at doubles with another win. Nelson and Lazerowich teamed up for their first win of the season when paired together, defeating Matthew Gemmell and Pedro Gimenez, 8-2, at No. 2 doubles.
