Seniors Propel Men’s Tennis to Non-Conference Win; Bobcats Top Fairfield, 5-2
HAMDEN, Conn. – Just one day removed from the court, the Quinnipiac University men's tennis team responded nicely to its quick turnaround with a 5-2 victory over Fairfield University at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts on Mount Carmel Campus. Led by its senior class, the Bobcats erased a 1-0 deficit with five wins in the singles segment for the team's fourth victory of the season.
Seniors Fahoum Fahoum (Haifa, Israel), Garrett Lane (Reading, Mass.) and Alex Lazerowich (Stratham, N.H.), sophomore Eric Ambrosio (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y.) and Luke Roser (Bernardsville, N.J.) each captured a point for the Bobcats. With the win, Quinnipiac improved to 4-9 on the season while also ending a three-game slide.
