HAMDEN, Conn. – In front of a large fan base on Thursday afternoon, the Quinnipiac University men's tennis team welcomed Boston University to the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts. The Bobcats, who were in search of their third straight win, dropped the non-conference showdown, 5-2, in a tightly played contest. With the loss, Quinnipiac falls to 3-6 overall on the season.

"It was nice to see such a great crowd on hand for today's match," said Head Coach Mike Quitko. "Our players fed off of the fans' intensity, undoubtedly improving our performance. In particular, I was very pleased with our results in doubles as we head into Northeast Conference play this weekend."
