Men's Tennis Suffers Setback At Yale, 7-0
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University men's tennis team was defeated in its first match of the New Year on Sunday afternoon, as the Bulldogs of Yale University swept the Bobcats, 7-0, at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. With the loss, QU falls to 0-2 overall on the young season.
In singles play, Kwei was defeated, 6-3, 6-2, to John Huang in the No. 2 slot and Eric Ambrosio (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y.) fell short, 6-2, 6-4, to Zachary Krumholz in the No. 4 match.
The men's tennis team returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 4 when they take on Binghamton and Bryant. The Bobcats take on the Bearcats at 5:30 p.m., followed by a doubles contest against the Bulldogs at 8 p.m. Both events will be hosted at Brown University.
