HAMDEN, Conn. The Quinnipiac University men's tennis team was picked to finish second in the Northeast Conference by the league's coaches, the conference office today announced. The Bobcats received two first-place votes, trailing only two-time defending champion Fairleigh Dickinson, which garnered the other seven first-place votes.
Following the Bobcats were Monmouth, Sacred Heart, Robert Morris and Mount St. Mary's. Saint Francis (Pa.), St. Francis (N.Y.) and Wagner rounded out the poll.
The Bobcats return to action, Feb. 14, when they play host to Hofstra at 2 p.m.
