Won nine matches as a freshman for the Bobcats, including
five singles wins...saw the majority of action in tournament play,
including a 2-1 mark at the Bucknell Round Robin...defeated
Fairfield's Thomas Wilbur in opening round action of the Quinnipiac
Invitational, 10/10...beat Hartford's Aaron Kooden, 6-1, 6-1, at
the Connecticut State Championships...filled in at No. 6 singles to
defeat Lafayette's James Murphy, 6-2, 6-3, on 3/28...paired with
Charlie Feldman to win his doubles debut, 8-6, against a team from
Bryant on 9/26...again combined with Feldman to one-up teammates
Tom Curran and Joe Nuara, 8-6, in quarterfinal action at the UConn
Invitational.
Before Quinnipiac:
Played three years of varsity tennis at Morristown-Beard
School, earning All-County and All-Conference recognition ... was
named Team MVP.

The son of Pat and Bob Tuckman ... has an older sister,
