Men’s Soccer Ranked 10th in NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Regional Poll
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University men's soccer team was ranked 10th in the eighth NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I North Atlantic Regional Poll, announced by the association on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. The NSCAA/Continental Tire College Rankings are an indicator of week-to-week status of qualified programs.

QU Men's Soccer Hosts Manhattan on Wednesday at 3 PM
The Quinnipiac University men’s soccer team looks to continue their unbeaten streak against the Manhattan College Jaspers on Wednesday, October 22. The Bobcats have not lost in their last seven opportunities (5-0-2). Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. from the QU Soccer Field.

QU Men's Soccer Plays To Scoreless Tie Against Monmouth
Hamden, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men’s soccer team (6-4-3) battled to a scoreless tie against Monmouth (6-2-4) on Saturday afternoon. In a rematch of the 2013 MAAC Championship, both sides were unable to find the back of the net through regulation and two overtime periods. Senior goalkeeper Borja Angoitia (Bilbao, Spain) recorded his fifth shutout on the season.

QU Men's Soccer Hosts Monmouth on Saturday Afternoon In Rematch Of 2013 MAAC Championship
In a rematch of last season’s MAAC Championship game, Quinnipiac will host Monmouth Saturday, Oct. 18 at the QU Soccer Field. Both teams enter the contest as the only undefeated teams in MAAC play. Kickoff is set for 3 PM.

Carvalho Nets Two In Bobcats 4-2 Win Over Marist
The Quinnipiac men's soccer team won their fifth game in six contests with a 4-2 victory over the Marist Red Foxes. Senior Raphael Carvalho (Danbury Connecticut) led the Bobcats with two goals while Machel Baker (Spanish Town Jamaica) and James Doig (Liverpool, England) added three points apiece. With the result, QU improves to 6-4-2 and 3-0-1 in MAAC play.

Men's Soccer Hits The Road For Conference Battle At Marist Wednesday Night
The Quinnipiac University men’s soccer team (5-4-2, 2-0-1) will hit the road this week for a conference battle with the Marist College Red Foxes (4-3-3, 1-1-1). The Bobcats have not dropped a game since September 17th, going 4-0-1 in their last five contests. Quinnipiac will take on Marist at the Gartland Athletic Field on Wednesday, Oct. 15th at 7:00 PM.

Men's Soccer Survives Late Surge by Rider, Win 2-1
Hamden, Conn. - The Quinnipiac University men's soccer team survived a late second half scare by the Rider Broncs and took a 2-1 conference victory. Machel Baker (Spanish Town, Jamaica) scored both goals in the first half off a pair of assists from James Doig (Liverpool, England).

The Quinnipiac University men’s soccer team (4-4-2, 1-0-1) will host Rider University (4-3-2, 1-1-0) on Saturday, Oct. 8th. The Bobcats are tied for second in the MAAC standings with four points. Kickoff from the QU Soccer Field is set for 3 PM.

Machel Baker Named MAAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
After two great performances in conference play last week, senior forward Machel Baker (Spanish Town, Jamaica) has been named the MAAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. The league’s office announced the honor on Monday, Oct. 6 2014. He is the first Quinnipiac soccer player to be honored by the conference this season.

Quinnipiac Men's Soccer Plays To 1-1 Tie At Canisius
In their second conference game of the season, the Quinnipiac men’s soccer team played to a 1-1 tie through double overtime against the Canisius Golden Griffins. The Bobcats faced a one goal deficit early in the second half before senior Machel Baker (Spanish Town, Jamaica) broke the tie.

QU Men’s Soccer Head Coach Eric Da Costa Named a Rising Star by Business New Haven
Quinnipiac University men’s soccer head coach Eric Da Costa has been tabbed a Rising Star by Business New Haven, the committee announced Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014. Da Costa led the Bobcats to the program’s first NCAA Tournament last season with the team poised for similar expectations in 2014.

After winning three consecutive games at home, the Quinnipiac men’s soccer team will hit the road to take on the Canisius Golden Griffins in Buffalo, N.Y. The Bobcats will play on Saturday, Oct. 4th at the Demske Sports Complex at 7 PM.

Bobcats' men's soccer senior Borja Angoita (Bilbao, Spain) and field hockey senior Megan Conaboy (Clarks Summit, Pa.) have been named the Quinnipiac September Athletes of the Month, which was announced on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014.

Angoitia Breaks Program Wins Record In 2-0 Shutout Of Niagara
Quinnipiac senior goalkeeper Borja Angoitia became the Bobcats' all-time win leader with his 27th career victory in a 2-0 shutout of Niagara University. Quinnipiac improves to 4-4-1 overall and 1-0-0 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play while Niagara drops to 3-6-1 overall and 0-1-0 in conference play.

The Quinnipiac University men’s soccer team will start conference play on Tuesday, Sept. 30th against the Niagara Purple Eagles. After two victories, the Bobcats will host the final contest of their three game home stand at the QU Soccer Field, 2 PM.

The Quinnipiac University men’s soccer team will play at home for the second consecutive game when they host the Yale Bulldogs on Friday, September 26th at 4 p.m. The game will be held at the QU Soccer Field.

QU Men's Soccer Blanks Columbia, 2-0
Hamden, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men’s soccer team captured their second victory of the season with a 2-0 win over Columbia. Back at home for the first time in two weeks, freshman Max Rothenbucher (Munich, Germany) and junior transfer James Greco (Long Valley, N.J.) scored their first career goals for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats will host the Columbia University Lions at home after a two week hiatus from the QU Soccer Field. Quinnipiac will take the field at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20th.

QU Men's Soccer Falls To Holy Cross, 2-1
Worcester, Mass. – The Quinnipiac men’s soccer team fell to Holy Cross on Wednesday night, 2-1. After a strong defensive performance against Army and a 0-0 tie, the Bobcats surrendered two goals at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium. Junior Tanor Jobe (Uxbridge, Mass.) scored the lone goal for Quinnipiac in the final two minutes of play.

The Bobcats will play their second consecutive game on the road in Worcester, Mass. on Wednesday, Sept. 17th at 7:05 p.m. Quinnipiac will take on the Holy Cross Crusaders at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium.

QU Men's Soccer Plays To 0-0 Tie For Second Consecutive Year Against Army
For the second consecutive year the Quinnipiac men’s soccer team played to a 0-0 tie against the Army Black Knights. On a wet Clinton Field in West Point, neither side was able to score through regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods. With the tie, Bobcat goalkeeper Borja Angoitia (Bilbao, Spain) registered his first shutout of the season and 15th of his career.

The Quinnipiac University men's soccer team hits the road this weekend to face the Army in West Point, N.Y. After earning their first victory of the season, the Bobcats will play the Black Knights on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. on the Army Soccer Field.

Alexander Achigbu, Quinnipiac Class of 2007 and a valued member of the QU men’s soccer program from 2004-06, died on Sept. 5, 2014 due to injuries sustained from a car accident.

The Quinnipiac University men's soccer team captured their first victory of the season with a 3-1 win over Providence College. The Bobcats also secured their first all-time win against a BIG EAST opponent at the QU Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.

Men's Soccer Drops Home Opener Against Boston College, 2-0
The Quinnipiac men’s soccer team suffered a tough lost at the hands of ACC power Boston College, 2-0. The game marked the 2014 home opener for the Bobcats at the QU Soccer Field. After dropping their first two games of the season at the Lakeside Classic in Evanston, Indiana, Quinnipiac wanted to use their home field crowd to bounce back and record their first victory.

The Quinnipiac men's soccer team returns to the field on Thursday, Sept. 5 for their first home action of the 2014 season. The Bobcats will host ACC powerhouse Boston College at the QU Soccer Field. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. Last season, QU finished with an impressive home record of 4-2-3.

EVANSTON, Ill. - After a hard physical battle and missed opportunities on both sides of the ball, the Quinnipiac men’s soccer team dropped their second game of the season to Northern Illinois, 3-0. The Bobcats were looking to rebound at Lakeside Field after a tough loss against Northwestern on Friday, but were held scoreless for the second consecutive game.

Men's Soccer Opens 2014 Season at Lakeside Classic against Northwestern and Northern Illinois this Weekend
The Quinnipiac men's soccer team takes the field on Friday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Aug. 31 in their first action of the 2014 season. The Bobcats will have their hands full as the squad travels to Chicago, Illinois for a showdown with the Northwestern Wildcats and Northern Illinois Huskies at the Sheraton Chicago-Northbrook Lakeside Classic. Both games will be held at Northwestern's own Lakeside Field. Kickoff with NU is set for 8 p.m. EST on Friday with a 12 p.m. EST on Sunday.

Fresh off one of the best seasons in program history, the Quinnipiac University men's soccer team began its quest for a third straight regular season title at Northwestern on Friday night. After a strong defensive effort between both teams, Northwestern slipped through to find multiple scores late and defeat the Bobcats 2-0 at Lakeside Field.

Former Quinnipiac University men’s soccer standout Simon Hinde has signed a professional contract with Ayia Napa F.C. of the Cypriot First Division, which is the highest division of men’s soccer in Cyprus.

Men’s Soccer Picked Second in MAAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll; Angoitia, Esche and Baker Tabbed To All-MAAC Preseason Team
The Quinnipiac University men’s soccer team was selected to finish second in the 2014 MAAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll, as voted by the league’s eleven head coaches. Also released was the MAAC’s Preseason All-Conference Team, in which three Quinnipiac student-athletes – Borja Angoitia (Bilbao, Spain), Tobias Esche (Bremen, Germany) and Machel Baker (Spanish Town, Jamaica) – each found their names on the list.
