Home-and-Away
In hopes of mirroring last year's start (3-0), the Quinnipiac University men's soccer team (3-4-1, 1-0 NEC) heads back to Brooklyn for a tilt against the struggling LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds at the LIU Soccer Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

All-Time Against LIU Brooklyn
LIU Brooklyn holds a 3-8-3 record against the Bobcats all-time. Expect a close match-up though considering the last six games have featured a 2-2-2 record for both clubs.

Scouting the Blackbirds
After a challenging non-conference slate, LIU Brooklyn welcomed NEC competition with open arms. The Blackbirds entered NEC play with a dismal 1-6-1 record, but managed to escape with a 1-1 mark this past weekend. LIU suffered a 2-1 setback at Fairleigh Dickinson, however bounced back with a 1-0 win in its home-opener against Mount St. Mary's. LIU Brooklyn's offense has struggled mightily, boasting only six goals while allowing 17 in 11 games. Jakeem Johnson leads the team with two goals and one assist for five points.

Last Time Against LIU Brooklyn
The Bobcats were unable to score in their last meeting with the Blackbirds, falling short by a final score of 1-0 in a neutral-site affair. Borja Angoitia made four saves in the loss, a game played at Yale University.

Calm, Cool and Collected
Robbie McLarney put away his second and third goals of the season against the Terriers (9/30), lifting the team to its third win of the campaign. McLarney connected on two penalty kicks; one in the first half and one late in the second half, the eventual game-winner. The senior midfield has three goals and two assists thus far.

And He's Back
Ola Ogunjobi's first goal of the season could not have come at a better time, as the sophomore forward helped the Bobcats to their first NEC win against St. Francis (N.Y.) (9/30). Ogunjobi snapped a header into the back of the net for the team's second goal of the game. He now has five goals and one assist for his career.

Atop The NEC
Philip Suprise sits atop the Northeast Conference in several statistical categories. He ranks first in points per game (1.62) and goals per game (0.75), tied for first in goals (6) and second in points (13). Furthermore on a national front, he ranks in the top-30 in goals and points per game.

Looking Ahead
