Saw action in 20 games, making 19 starts…Netted the game tying goal against Saint Francis in a 1-1 game on 10/25…Registered the most minutes (1875) for a Bobcat field player. 

As A Sophomore in 2008:

Played in 12 games, making 11 starts...Did not register a point...Saw action in 1,089 minutes of play.

As a Freshman in 2007:

Made immediate impact...Started every game...Backbone of the team’s defense with physical play (anchor) steady and consistent ... part of the reason the team had six shutouts. 

Before Quinnipiac:
Played soccer for Ahlafars IF in 2007...Was team captain for Orgrnte IS in 2006 and 2005...Won the Swedish Boys Under 18 championship in 2002...Led Orgrnte IS to league championship in 2006.

Personal:
Attended the Katrinelundsgymnasiet school in Goteborg, Sweden...He is the son of Siv and Staffan Claessons...Plans to major in international business.
